Start with the Early Free Letter Guide and write your letter privately. Create a Private Thread only when the physical letter is ready to be sent. Anyone who already has a Code can go directly to Enter a Code.
No. SLOWKEPT provides prompts, structure, boundaries, and printable checks, but the writer chooses every word and keeps the complete letter outside the website.
No. Do not upload the full text, scan, or photograph. The letter stays on paper or in a private tool you control.
The Early Free Letter Guide offers gentle prompts to help you prepare a physical letter in your own words. It is free to use and does not require a Code. The Early Free Letter Guide is available in early access. Its prompts, order, and wording may continue to evolve as we refine it.
Each verified account can successfully create one First Private Thread Demo, once. The sender and recipient can each add up to two shared updates in the Demo's single round. An Ongoing Private Thread is a separate one-time purchase. A completed Demo remains available as a read-only record with its original Code, while the paid Thread receives its own active Code.
Your one-time Demo is used only after the Demo Thread and its Code are successfully created. Opening the Start page or experiencing a failed creation does not use it.
No. Deleting, archiving, abandoning, upgrading, refunding, or disputing a related paid product does not restore a used Demo. A verified technical failure may qualify for one audited administrator replacement.
No. Participating as a recipient does not use your own account's Demo eligibility.
An Ongoing Private Thread is a separate one-time purchase for continuing physical correspondence. A and B take turns. The person whose turn it is may add zero, one, or two optional shared updates before sending the next physical letter. Marking that letter as sent passes the Thread to the other person. The same active Thread and Code can continue across future letter rounds.
It keeps selected dates, physical-letter events, and shared updates deliberately submitted by a sender or recipient. It does not keep the full letter.
A private note is attached to a timeline event for the account that created it. It is not shown to the other participant and is not a shared update.
A Private Thread Code is a private credential that opens one Thread. Share it only with the intended participant and do not post it publicly.
No. The same active paid Ongoing Private Thread Code continues across later physical-letter rounds. A completed Demo remains separate and read-only with its own Code.
Not for the first entry. A recipient can enter a valid Code and submit a permitted update without creating an account. Saving the Thread to an account is optional.
No. A recipient is not charged to enter an existing Thread or submit a permitted recipient update.
No. SLOWKEPT has no passive open tracking or read receipt. The sender sees only a shared update the recipient deliberately submits.
No. The recipient may leave an update, need time, leave without acting, or never reply. SLOWKEPT does not pressure or guarantee a response.
The refunded order's unused paid access may be revoked. A paid Thread already created from that order becomes read-only, while existing shared history and each participant's existing private notes remain available. Unrelated valid purchases are not affected.
Related paid access may be temporarily suspended and an existing paid Thread may become read-only. If the provider resolves the dispute in SLOWKEPT's favor, eligible access is restored without resetting limits or creating duplicate credits.
A verified payment-provider security warning, including an actionable Stripe early fraud warning, may trigger a full refund of the remaining refundable balance. This protects the payment system and is not an accusation that the account holder committed fraud.
No. Current paid products are designed as one-time digital purchases. The exact price, currency, taxes, and included access appear before checkout.
Yes. Waiting or keeping the letter privately can be a complete outcome. A Private Thread is optional and should be created only when needed.
No. SLOWKEPT is a letter-preparation and private-timeline service, not professional care, legal advice, crisis support, or an emergency service.
We typically reply within 1–2 business days. Requests involving payment providers, identity checks, or complex account review may take longer.
Include the account email, order reference, and only the minimum Code detail needed, such as the last two characters. Do not send the full letter, complete Code, password, complete card number, or card security code.
Create a Private Thread only when the physical letter is ready, or enter a Code you already received.
What is free, printable, and paid
The Early Free Letter Guide, Starter Printables, and Complete Guides are separate products. Access to one does not automatically unlock another.
